Welcome To Northern Brewing

Established in 2003, Northern Brewing is an award-winning micro-brewery.

We produce both Cask-Conditioned and Bottle-Conditioned Real Ales.

Our range of beers encompasses many styles, such as Milds, Session Bitters, Best Bitters, Premium Bitters, Stouts, Porters, Strong Ales, India Pale Ales and Fruit Beers.

We take great care and pride in the making of our beers, and use only the finest of ingredients - malted barley, hops & yeast - sourced from the UK's top suppliers.

We are located in the heart of Cheshire, at Sandiway (near Northwich) on Blakemere Craft Centre, a leading local tourist attraction. Note: It is from our location that the building housing our brewery derives its "rather catchy and original" name - Blakemere Brewery!

We offer two distinct ranges of beers:

  • Northern

All the beers appearing under this brand pay hommage to one of our other great passions in life... Northern Soul music;

  • Blakemere

Taking its name from the Brewery's base at Blakemere Craft Centre, this brand essentially includes everything other than Northern Soul related beers, such as seasonal beers, beers for specials occassions, and many of our core range.
